give him time to gain his control, then command.
Hopefully he can make it as a starter. If not that, then maybe middle
relief. If he can throw strikes consistently and cut down the walks,
at worst, he could be a back-end reliever and maybe a closer.
Right now, agreed, he's not a major league anything. But give up on
him too soon, ala John Smoltz or Trevor Hoffman and the Rockies might
wish they hadn't.
Maybe Morales and Jimenez both turn out to be busts but I'd be patient
with them. Juan Morillo, well, he just looks terrible. But we've seen
good things from U & M.
Stewart has leveled off and I just don't see major league starter
stamped on him.
