It's not like Hirsh is a proven commodity by any means. Could he
have pitched well? Absolutely, but there's no track record in the
big leagues to say he was going to be the answer. Plus, I think U-
ball and Morales would've have been just as bad pitching in the 4
and 5 spots in the rotation. It's not about where they pitch, it's
about their horrible mechanics and youth.
