Message:
I recall a back lash...many of us were offended by remarks by Falwell,
Robertson, etc.
Maybe there might be some undercurrent of "racism" with Rev. Wright or
maybe it's something else...like do we really need this stuff, again?
Is something special required of us because they are black? And a
black candidate would have to be extra careful because this kind of
stuff would stick to him more than the whites because...well, that's
just the way it still is no matter how hard people want to think
things have changed.
