Precisely. The candidates--ALL of them--are basically empty suits on
this. It is going to take a combination of all those things you
mention and probably more that we don't even know about yet, to solve
the problems. To flatly say that more drilling is not a part of the
solution is just plain stupid. In the short term, that has to be
done. Al Gore and his bunch of alarmists just beller hysterically
and piss in the wind. A real "leader" would go to the oil companies,
GM, major industries, etc., and say, "how can we all, working
together, solve the problems AND make money along the way." The
democrats see the big "evil" corporations as the problem--and
sometimes they are--but they are also a big part of the solutions
that must and will be found and to deny that is pure idiocy.
