Something like 'in the short run we are gong to start construction
on X nuc power plants, X wind farms, X solar farms, and increase
domestic drilling etc. In the long run we are going to wean
ourselves off of fossil fuels but investing X dollars in clean
energy per year'
Instead it is a bunch of 'we are going to lead the world in clean
energy.' Which sounds great but it is not a solution for short term
issues. There is going to have to be give and take on both sides.
