and like you said, kill the regular season.

They mean nothing compared to the NCAA Tournament.

To work hard all season, be successful, win the regular season crown
and then for conference officials go, "just joking! You haven't won
anything yet" and then someone gets hot for 3 games and they are the
tourney champ.

And hearing stuff like "(school) has won 5 reg. season title and two
tourney titles" is just "what?????"
