Does the NCAA Tournament devalue/dilute the regular season?

Does the NFL devalue the regular season?

First of all, Mr. Mandel, you have to win nearly every week to have a
shot in the post-season. Next, when the games are being played during
the regular season, they are "in the moment" meaning that's all those
players, coaches and fans are thinking about, especially with rankings
and rivalries. Every game matters to the max every week.

So if a bright man like you (Mandel) truly wants to believe it's not
about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and not about administrators pleasing
their bosses, alumni and boosters with bowl games, then I have a woman
president to sell you for 2008, cheap.
