Listening to him on The Fan with Scott Hastings and Alfred Williams
yesterday. I think Lute has hand picked him to step in when he
retires, which looks to be sooner than later. I don't think Dunlap
leaves his post as an assistant with the Nuggets if the discussions
with Lute didn't intimate him getting head job or at least a very
good chance at getting it. Dunlap has stayed in the Denver area
because he and his family absolutely love it here. He said his wife
and his kids had a "jaw dropping look on their faces" when he told
them of the Arizona gig.
