Huh? Why would you think that was always in Patton's evil plan to
recruit guys to Boulder so he could take them to his next gig? When
Patton was putting together that last class, his main goal was to
plug some holes left by 8 departing seniors.
Of course, here's where the righteous CU fans will claim that it was
all a big conspiracy, that he recruited guys like Van Burck and Inge
(the final guys to sign, after other offers turned him down) as a
final curse on the next coach.
The people who believe that weren't CU fans back then, so they
shouldn't consider themselves fans now.
